Mode of submission of application for registration of bidders having beneficial ownership from countries sharing land border with India

The Office Memorandum of the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade dated 23 July 2020 mandated that bidders having beneficial ownership in countries which share land border with India will be eligible to bid in public procurement only if they are registered with the competent authority.

The Office Memorandum issued on 2 September 2020 requires the applicants to submit the application form in the prescribed format in seven hard copies (instead of four as prescribed in the previous Office Memorandum dated 28 August 2020) along with a soft copy in pdf format to email ID dpiit.144@gov.in.
